2014 Texas Skies District Tiger Safari Day

For Tiger Scouts
Description of Event: Tiger Day is an outdoor event for Cub Scouts on their path to Tiger Cub rank (1st Grade/Age 7). Having FUN is the best part of this camp along with allowing new Scouts to take care of some of their required Achievements and Electives to make their Tiger Rank. The most important part of the day is having FUN with fellow Tiger Scouts!
Who does the Program Benefit: This program benefits both the Scout and the Parent. The Scout will start earning his required rank achievements and the Parents will be able to ask our volunteers and staff any questions they may have on this new Scouting Adventure they are starting with their Son.
Parent and/or Adult guardian must accompany each Tiger Cub.
Registration: Two ways to register early online at the Texas Skies District Website (August 18th ) or at end of summer/early fall Round Tables starting August 7th. Online registration closes on September 22, 2014. All attendees will need to turn in a completed BSA Health Form (Parts A & B) at registration.
Cost of Event: Event registration is $10 for early registration and $15 at day of the event. Checks are to be made out to SHAC (Sam Houston Area Council).
Location: This year’s event will be at the Katy YMCA Camp Cinco which is behind Creech Elementary on South Mason Rd.
Times: This year's event will be from 1pm to 4pm
